The Sterling Gospel Music Awards returns for its 9th staging on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Emmanuel Apostolic Church on Braeton Parkway in Portmore, St. Catherine. The event continues to celebrate excellence in gospel music while honoring the artists, groups, and contributors who shape the industry.

This year’s staging carries the theme “African Elegance”, which also serves as the dress code for the evening. Patrons can expect a vibrant blend of fashion and culture alongside the night’s musical offerings.

The program will feature a strong lineup of performers, including Prince Saj, Petra Kaye, Jai Kingston, Carey Sayles, and the Gilead Collective. Rising stars will also share the spotlight, with appearances from 2024 Gospel Star winner Jaida Messam and 2025 Gospel Star winner Raheim Betty. Adding an international touch, Ugandan gospel artist Coopy Bly will also take the stage.

Guests will enjoy a red carpet experience with interviews and photo opportunities from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., ahead of the official start of the awards show at 7:00 p.m.

Pre-sold tickets are priced at JMD $5,000 and are available online at Spurropen.com, as well as at Fontana Waterloo Square and Fontana Portmore.
